I'm a dubstep producer, DJ, music journalist, sound engineer, games reviewer, festival stage manager and all-round creative-and-online industry worker. I'm originally from New Zealand, but spent most of the last seven years in Birmingham, UK.
I've spent a lot of time in recording studios, record labels and radio stations, and I've worked at festivals like Big Chill and Green Man. For the past five months, I've been working in Mumbai, India where I ran the Pepsi Dub Station at the Bacardi NH7 Weekender Festival - and soon I'm off to Brazil to work on music and film festivals there.
This is my latest song:
The 19-year-old DJ throws out some hard and heavy beats in his latest album as he makes a name for himself in the Mumbai scene. - Indiecision
I'm a hard worker and a fast learner. I create my music using Ableton Live and have released five albums to date. I'm a committed Mac user and a discerning gamer.
I also do a bit of graphic design in Photoshop, play the drums, watch classic horror films, build Wordpress websites, cook, play chess, proofread, juggle and I can solve the Rubik's Cube in under a minute. I speak a little German and I'm learning Portuguese.
I studied Philosophy, Linguistics, Critical Thinking and Music Technology and received an AQA Baccalaureate. I've decided not to attend university - at least, for the moment. Right now, that's what the world is for.
