Seventy Squids and a Beer

Yesterday I had a haircut. I was expecting to have a trim, keeping the spherical ‘helmet-hair’ look though (It suits me, even though it makes me look like Sid from ‘Skins’ apparently). Then my mum offered me £50 to cut my hair short. As I am in a state of constant money lackage, this was a serious offer. I wasn’t sure though, short hair usually looks really, REALLY strange on me. My mum then got a text from her friend from work, saying if I cut my hair short she would give me £20 and a beer. Seventy squids and a beer? SOLD.

The condition was, the longest it was allowed to be after being cut was a number 4 (about an inch and a bit). That’s not too bad. Why not? I figured a new style would be cool. Ethan just got his hair cut short and he still looks cool. Sitting in the barber’s chair I managed to fall asleep, so I didn’t see it getting cut at all. Slightly shocking when I woke up, but I realized that I had had this style before, when I was about 10 or 11 (before I left New Zealand)!

Hair Comparison

I really like my haircut. So in the end I got money, beer, and awesome hair! I’m happy with that. Anyone else want to give me money for doing awesome things?
