I Like Badges

Mmm... Tasty Badges

I really do. I really like badges. I’m not sure what it is. Whether it’s the yummy feel of a new badge, the ability to express yourself without having to talk to people, the fact that rocker chicks really love them (Oh yeah! Yeah they do) or that I’m just naturally attracted to smooth shiny things. Who knows?

The point is, I have gradually been coming into the possession of lots of badges. One hundred and thirty two, to be exact. I have been looking for places to put all these badges. Tops? No, I’d have to take them all off for the wash. Jeans? No, same reason. Socks? No I don’t want to ruin people’s wooden floors when i slide along. Hat? Hat! A hat would work! I have a hat! Success!

And so I badged up my hat, thus creating a +10 Coolifying Hat of Protection!

I also believe that this large collection of metal has in fact created an unofficial Chick-Magnet. I have yet to experiment further. My findings will be published, possibly televised.

I thought the whole book was depressing. Noone was particularly nice in it. I used to collect badges. I’m unsure of their coolness, I remember one was a Snoopy badge.

According to Kate Bush it was Cathy, but I was 13 when I was made to read Wuthering Heights and then immediately tried to erase it from my memory. Heathcliffe is the only character I empathised with. Our school class was then taken to see the movie. I don’t know which I hated more. Probably the book as it took longer to get through.

who said no one else would comment, also international travel maybe a bit of a problem with that hat,but if it attracts the ladies it’s a small price to pay
